About Me

Thank you for visiting my website and supporting my dream to make a living form my creativity.

For as far back as I can remember, I have told anyone that would listen that I was going to be an artist when I grow up. I somehow always knew that I would,  but I could never have predicted the path that would eventually bring me here.

I am a graduate of Crawford College of Art and Design and DCCOI Pottery Skills course. After college, I began working as a production potter before taking up the position of Ceramics tutor at Dungarvan College. For the past 19 years I have loved every minute of my work , nurturing students creative side and watching students grow and excel but , with a young family it left very little time for my to work on my own ceramics.

When faced with a devastating loss, I found my way back to clay as a means of healing and brought me back to my childhood aspirations. While it has always been a dream of mine to make a living from my creativity, I could never have know the thraputic benefits it would offer .So when you buy a piece from me, I want everyone who connects with my work to l love it as much as I love creating it.

Each piece that you purchase from me has been given the time, attention and love that a beautiful object deserves. The slow and meditative process of forming my work ensures that I focus on creating quality over quantity. Individually made, carved, painted and shows the makres handmade mark. No two pieces that I make  will ever be the same so  designs and marks may differ a little from images shown. I work in small batch orders . I spend time on each piece that I make. and never rush what I do.

I stock my shop each season with new work so keep an eye on my Instagram and Facebook page for updates.
