Workshop details:
On Friday October 4th, I am offering a special pottery workshop for bereaved parents to create a delicate porcelain nightlight to mark the International Wave of Light (October 15th) This special wave of light is a beautiful time to honour and remember our children as the world lights up at 7.30pm across the globe.
As a bereaved parent, I feel very fortunate to feel the grounding and healing power of working with clay since the death of my son, Fionn. For years, I’ve wanted to offer a space like this, where we can come together, create, and connect over our shared experiences of loss. However, I could never bring myself to ask for payment from fellow bereaved parents because I believe we have already paid the price of loss.
Therefore, I am offering this workshop at the very reduced price of €5 per person, simply to
cover the cost of materials and kiln firings.
